Payment & Order Policy

We want your shopping experience to be smooth and secure from checkout to delivery. Please review our payment and order policy below.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • MobilePay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Klarna (pay later / instalment options where available)
  • Gift Cards issued by Perfumeza

All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

All payments are encrypted with SSL and processed through Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.

2. Currencies

Perfumeza operates across multiple markets. Prices are displayed and charged in the currency of your region:

  • Denmark: DKK (Danish Krone)
  • Sweden: SEK (Swedish Krona)
  • Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy: EUR (Euro)

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees for cross-border transactions. Perfumeza is not responsible for these charges.

3. Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address provided at checkout. This email serves as your receipt — please keep it for your records.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us at contact@perfumeza.com.

4. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During high-volume periods such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, or promotional sales, processing times may be slightly extended. We will always communicate any delays by email.

5. Pricing & VAT

All prices displayed on Perfumeza are inclusive of VAT where applicable under Danish and EU tax law. The final price shown at checkout is the total amount you will be charged — no hidden fees.

Perfumeza reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. The price valid at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed and no charge will be made. Please check your card details and try again, or contact your bank for assistance. Common reasons for declined payments include:

  • Incorrect card details entered
  • Insufficient funds
  • Card not authorised for online or international transactions
  • Bank fraud prevention block

If the issue persists, try an alternative payment method or contact us at contact@perfumeza.com.

7. Order Modifications & Cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly to ensure fast dispatch. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at contact@perfumeza.com with your order number.

We cannot guarantee modifications or cancellations once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched. In that case, please refer to our Refund & Return Policy.

Act Fast

Contact us immediately after placing your order if you need to make changes. Once dispatched, we are unable to modify or cancel your order.

8. Discount Codes & Promotions

Discount codes must be applied at checkout before completing your order. We are unable to apply discount codes retroactively after an order has been placed. Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

Promotions and discount codes are subject to terms and conditions and may have expiry dates or minimum order values.

9. Gift Cards

Perfumeza gift cards are available for purchase and can be used as payment at checkout. Gift cards do not expire and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

10. Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and our business, all orders are subject to security screening. Orders flagged for potential fraud may be held for manual review. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing. Perfumeza reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of fraudulent activity and issue a full refund.
